Ronald Wright

Ronald Emmerson Wright 1932 – 2024 Passed away peacefully on October 24. Survived by his children: Gretchen Wright, Karla (Frank) Fisher, Steven (Lydia) Wright, Sibyl Wright, and Stephané Wright. Grandchildren: Madeline Soleski, Kacy Fisher, Emmaline Wright, Pascal and Sarah Egerter. Ronald was born in Menomonee, Michigan, to Freida (nee Lueskow) and Guy Ford. He was later adopted by William H. Wright. Ron attended the University of Michigan, and went on to teach French in Menomonee, WI; Wauwatosa, WI; and English in Fort-de-France, Martinique. He also studied and taught in Paris, France. Ron enjoyed watching tennis and college football and reading The New York Times. In his later years, Ron enjoyed the community at Cambridge Senior Apartments in Milwaukee. Special thanks to the incredible staff at the Lutheran Home in Wauwatosa. Private memorial service will be held.
