Rosalie Ness

Oregon – Rosalie Ann Ness, age 84, joined her Lord and Eternal family members on Friday, June 16, 2023. Rosalie was born on June 23, 1938, in Minnesota, the daughter of Alton and Joey Mork. After meeting her sweetheart her freshman year of college, Rosalie married Allan Ness on August 8, 1959, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Rosalie helped people in many ways. She was a lifeguard, social worker, teacher, librarian and an amazing mother. Allan and Rosalie had three wonderful children, Beth, Tim and Lisa, who brought joy and happiness to their lives. Rosalie's life centered around family, friends, church activities, teaching and guiding others. She would always be available to lend a helping hand and could be found at the swimming pool to enjoy class with her friends. Rosalie is survived by her husband Allan Ness, her three children, Elizabeth Stenslien (Tom), Timothy Ness (Regina), and Lisa Weber (Jeffrey). Her five grandchildren are: Jaron Elbert, Alex Stenslien, Hannah Weber, Timothy Ahn, and Lauren Ahn. Her sister JoAnne Rawlings, nephews Michael (Karin) and Charlie Rawlings and niece Sue Daering and son Sam. A Celebration of Life will be held at St John's Lutheran Church at 625 East Netherwood Street, Oregon, Wisconsin on September 23, 2023, 10 am visitation, 11 am service. A private burial will follow for family members. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity in Rosalie's name. The family wishes to thank Agrace (home hospice care and Fitchburg facility) for their support, compassion and care during this time of transition.
