Roy Rasmussen

Born in Chicago, IL to Roy and Edna Rasmussen, joined his beloved wife Barbara A. (nee Bomm) in heaven on February 10, 2019 at the age of 85. Predeceased by his younger brother Jack D. Rasmussen. Cherished father of Mark, Lori Hassett, and John. Treasured grandpa of Michael Hassett and Megan (Joseph) Young. Loving great-grandpa to Madison and Sophie Young. Further survived by nieces, nephews, and friends. Roy and Barb raised their family in Wauwatosa before moving to Brookfield. They retired to Phoenix, AZ in 2009. He lost the love of his life in Phoenix in 2013. He recently returned to Milwaukee to spend his remaining time with his children, for which they will always be grateful. His devotion to his family and his sense of humor will be dearly missed. In honor of Roy, donations to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation would be appreciated. A celebration of Roy's life will be held on a later date.
