Born to Life March 9, 1930 to Antonio and Esther Chavez. Born to Eternal Life June 20, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Shirley (nee Stewart). Loving father of Nicole (Fernando) Serrano and Amy Chavez. Loving grandfather of Brooke (Joe) Boersma, Adam (Mouapa) Cho, Alexander Cho-Serrano, Arielle Serrano, Brendan Serrano, and Joshua Chavez. Loving great-grandfather of Aiden, Armani, and Mecasia Cho. Fond brother of Paul (the late Judy) Chavez and Louis (Kathy) Chavez. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, son Steven Chavez, infant daughter Mary Chavez, sisters Aurora (Roman) Bruening, Esther (the late Wayne) Barutha, and Alice (the late Ken) Marshall, and brothers Carlos (the late Babe) Chavez and Anthony (the late May) Chavez. Rudy was a United States Army Veteran. Visitation Friday, July 16, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Wisconsin Memorial Park Chapel of the Chimes, 13235 W. Capitol Dr., Brookfield, with a Memorial Service at 3:00 PM. Private burial Wisconsin Memorial Park.
