Passed away peacefully on July 23, 2026 surrounded by his family. Sam was born in Brooklyn, New York. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother and wife, Joseph and Dottie of California, and sister-in-law, Marie Castrova of New York.

Same loved his family and Christian friends. Sam loved having Bible studies and sharing Jesus with others. He enjoyed fishing with the local fish club. He loved seeing his kids visiting him in North Carolina. He served in the US Army for two years. He was a machinist for many years.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Ruth (Daniel) Castrova, his six children and their families, Joanna Kusak, Robert Castrova (Tina), Sammy Castrova (Lori), Carla Castrova, Paula Castrova, Michael Castrova (Tami), 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, his brother Harold Castrova of New York, and several nephews and nieces.

A service will be held on Monday, July 27th at Schramka Funeral Home, 13220 W. Capitol Dr, Brookfield. Visitation 12-1 PM, service at 1 PM. Private burial at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
