Sara Stewart

September 3, 1936 — July 29, 2019

On July 29th, Sara Louise Stewart passed lovingly into the arms of her Heavenly Father. By those who were fortunate to call her family or friend, Sara is fondly remembered for her tenacity towards living a life that was full and lovely. She is remembered for her deep affection towards people; she was good at loving people and her capacity to make a friend out of a complete stranger was both humbling and inspiring. She is remembered for her ability to give selflessly; thoughtful gift giving was a love language of hers. She allowed God to use her to be a blessing to those around her, and her generosity knew no bounds. She is remembered for her sharp, quick wit and her charming sense of humor; she enjoyed making people chuckle and had a knack for doing so. She is remembered for her patriotism to this country; she was a passionate Republican and gave much of her time, service, and support to the Party. She is remembered for her glamour— beautiful things brought her joy and she relished in them. She is remembered for her feisty attitude; she carried confidence on her sleeve as though it were an expensive purse. That confidence is what drove her and her beloved, Richard, to experience abundant success with their business, Aloha Pools, as custom swimming pool builders. That confidence is also what gave her the strength to persevere; no matter how many times she was knocked down or made to endure the troubles of this world, she always chose to fight the good fight with kindness and humility. She is remembered for her display of faith thru trials and heartache. She knew her Heavenly Father and found peace and comfort in surrendering her pain to Him. Most importantly, she is remembered for her role as mother, grandmother & great grandmother. Mother of six; Sarah, Mark, Carl, Little Rick, Gerry, Sharon (Darrel). Grandmother of eight; Jason (Cheryl), Joshua (Sarah), Tia, Gabriel (Bri), Phoenicia (Jimmy), Jillian (Reuben), Chelsea (Jacob), Ryan (Kyla). Great-Grandmother of ten; Logan, Chloe, Zane, Joseph, Jedidiah, Judah, Dylan, Asher, Noah, and Baby Bock. Sara loved her family fiercely and never gave up on believing in the very best for her children. Even in her final moments, she showed grace, forgiveness, appreciation, and unconditional love. Sara's belief in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior is what gives us hope and solace during this time of great loss. Our family is comforted by the knowledge that we know that we, too, will one day be reunited with her, wholly- without pain and suffering- in our heavenly dwelling.
