A lover of adventure and new experiences, Sarah never passed up an opportunity to travel and visit her loved ones. Her zest for life was evident in her enthusiasm for trips to the casinos, where she enjoyed the excitement and the vibrant atmosphere. Sarah's infectious laughter and joyous spirit made every outing memorable.
Her love for television was no secret, with Dr. Phil being her favorite show. Sarah also had a playful side, often joking about her admiration for Tom Selleck and Burt Reynolds, whose performances she followed with great enjoyment.
Sarah was the matriarch of a large and loving family. She is survived by her devoted children, Jerome (Denise) Wright, James (Stephanie) Brooks, Robert (Renee) Brown, Debra (Greg) Walters, and Benjamin (Anette) Brown. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Sherral, Laquisha, Jaqunia, Mariah, Jimeka, Vence Jr., Ben Jr., NyJul, Niklas, Shaune, Nahmain, Veronda, and Jamaal, as well as her fifteen great-grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable joy.
She was a cherished sister to Ernestine Young, who remains to honor Sarah's memory. Sarah was preceded in death by her brothers, James Brooks, her sisters, Annie Pearl and Bobbie Joe Brooks, Son Vence Booker, and grand daughter Quinette Walter. Each of them held a special place in her heart, and she in theirs.
