Sharon L. Fliss
September 8, 1944 - January 20, 2026
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon, who departed this world peacefully on Tuesday, January 20th, 2026, at the age of 81. Sharon, a cherished wife, mother, and friend, leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and warmth that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Born on September 8, 1944, Sharon's boundless energy and enthusiasm for life were evident from a young age. She married the love of her life, Jerry Fliss, with whom she shared a beautiful journey through life's joys and challenges. Together, they cultivated a family that became Sharon's proudest accomplishment. Sharon is survived by her devoted husband, Jerry, and their two wonderful daughters, Stacey and Megan, who were the light of her life.
Sharon's talents were as diverse as they were numerous. She found joy in knitting, creating cozy treasures that her family, especially her daughters, Stacey and Megan, will treasure forever. Her love for nature was reflected in the vibrant blooms that adorned her garden, which she tended with great pride and care. Sharon had a fondness for cardinals, and she often remarked on their vibrant beauty during her walks among her flowers.
Her family meant the world to her, and she showered them with unconditional love. Sharon's beloved dog, Scarlett, held a special place in her heart, often accompanying her on her quiet walks and excursions. Those who knew Sharon also knew of her fierce passion for the Milwaukee Brewers, as well as her immense cleverness and sharp wit that often brought joy to every conversation.
Sharon's life will be celebrated in a service facilitated by Schramka Funeral Home in Thiensville. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Sharon's name to local community gardens or animal shelters, reflecting her lifelong loves and passions.
As we bid farewell to Sharon, let us remember her with joy, embrace her memory with love, and honor her life by cherishing our own families as she cherished hers. She now rests in the eternal garden of peace, undoubtedly surrounded by her favorite blooms and the loyal companionship of Scarlett.
May her soul find eternal rest, and may her memory continue to bloom in our hearts.
