Shirley Ann Hawk

Of Menomonee Falls. Born to Eternal Life April 24, 2026. Beloved wife of the late David. Dear mother of Marianne (Jim) Elmer, Barb Hawk, Sally (Tommi Levi) Hawk, Richard (Vicki) Hawk, Teresa Hawk, Judi (Don) Phillips, Patti Lopez-Leon and Steve (Angie) Hawk. Loving grandmother of Mike (Jennifer) Elmer, Bobby (Kelly) Elmer, Krista (Russ) Ewert, Linda Elmer, Deanna Hawk, Leanne (Jake) Smith, Carly Levi, Megan Hawk, Nick Lopez-Leon, Madison Hawk and Isabella Lopez-Leon. Loving great-grandmother of Gavin, Nolah and Sawyer Ewert and Lilly Elmer. Also survived by other relatives and friends.

She married David Hawk in 1959. They raised eight children.

Shirley was very active at St. Marys. She particatpated in the Ladies Sodality, teaching religion classes, decorating the church, and making banners. She was also a member of the funeral choir after her retirement. 

Shirley was concerned with those who needed help by making bag lunches, and meatloaves for St. Ben’s.

Shirley loved to crochet and sew. She crocheted many baby hats and prayer shawls for Community Hospital. She sewed many blakets which she donated.

She loved having family gatherings with all her children, grandchildren and great grandchild.

Visitation Tuesday, May 12th, 9:30-10:30 AM at St. Mary Parish, N89 W16297, Cleveland Ave., Menomonee Falls, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Mary Parish and School would be appreciated.
