Shirley Rydell

On July 26, 2021, Shirley Rydell (nee Michalek) was called home to eternal peace. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Roman "Sam" Rydell. Shirley was the loving mother of Craig (Vicki) and Nancy. She was the world's greatest "Busie" to Emily Monfre, Emma Rydell and Abbi Rydell. Sister of the late James (the late Dolly) Michalek. A longtime member of Polanki Polish Women's Cultural Club. Shirley was proud of her Polish heritage and ensured that all holidays and birthdays included Polish traditions and songs, her desserts won over many hearts . From breaking oplatek to making the best paczki this side of Warsaw, Shirley did it all. A private celebration will be held at a future date.
