Found peace on January 5, 2017 at the age of 53 years. Devoted husband of Jane Steinhardt for 20 years. Father of Maggie (John) Wetzel, Skylar Ruder, Nicole (Randy) Steinhoff, Heather Poppe, Leah (Jamie) Douglas and Michael (Kathleen) Parsley. Grandfather of 13. Brother of Kenneth (Christi) Poppe, Marilyn (David) Matheus, Marsha (Robert) Hilber and the late Dennis (Nancy) Poppe. Preceded in death by his parents Dale and Rosemary Poppe. Further loved by nieces, nephews, other relatives, many friends and military buddies. Tom proudly served in the US Air Force for 25 years. Visitation Tuesday, January 10 at the funeral home from 2-5 PM followed by brief prayer service, family eulogies and full military honors.
