Steven Leo Kramer born 10/02/1948 at Burlington Memorial Hospital and on Wednesday, 06/28/2023, went to be with the Lord and his son. He was known by many as Magoo or Santa Steve. He blessed others with his many talents, which included singing silly songs and making unmatched "grandpa" meals for his grandchildren. He graduated with an associate degree with honors in education and used this knowledge and his wide variety of experience in car repair, cooking, building, and machinery knowledge to help others. He will always be remembered as full of laughter, the truest family man, and will be forever in the hearts of those who knew him.
He is survived by his wife Shanette, daughter Michelle (Todd) Prillwitz, grandchildren Coulton, Ezra, Annalea, Swarupa, Greyson, and Clairisse, adopted in love Matt Baker, Marie, and children Damian and Shelby. His siblings Bob Kramer, Sue Larson, Jan (Jess) Schlater, Ron (Lori) Kramer, Carolyn (Tom) Uhen, and MaryKaye (Chris) Johnson, along with his wife's family members and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Shirley Kramer, his son Michael T Kramer, and grandson at heart Slade Baker, his brother Nicholas Kramer and wife Joan, and brother-in-law Terry Larson and sister-in-law Bonnie Kramer, along w/ other loved close family and friends.
To honor Steve's wishes, the family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Community Church (to be used for church planting, the school and aquaponics program in Honduras).
Visitation will be held Friday, 7/7/23 from 1-3 PM at Schramka-Borgwardt Funeral Home, 11030 W. Forest Home Ave., Hales Corners. Service to follow at 3 PM.
A celebration of life will follow at Community Church, 455 S Jefferson St, Waterford, WI; all are welcome to join the family for food, fellowship, and the sharing of your stories and memories of a special man.
