Susan Marie Zainer

Susan Marie Zainer, known affectionately as Susie, passed away on February 11, 2026, at the age of 85 in Mequon, WI. Born on January 23, 1941, in Milwaukee, WI to the Leipold family, Susie carried the warmth of her origins throughout her life.

Susie graduated from Rufus King High School, setting the stage for a fulfilling career at Boelter Industries. Her work there was marked by dedication and a commitment to excellence, traits that defined her both professionally and personally.

A kind soul, Susie's life was filled with love for her family and her pets. She is survived by her sons, Steven, Richard, and Christopher Zainer. Susie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John E. Zainer. Her home was a haven of joy, often filled with the sounds of her cherished dog Harper and cat Nico, and the laughter of her 9 grandchildren, whom she adored deeply.

Susie enjoyed spending her leisure time with her animals and was also an avid viewer of various television programs and watching Shawn the Sheep, which brought her much relaxation and happiness.

The Schramka Funeral Home in Thiensville, WI is assisting the family during this time. Susie's life will be celebrated and remembered for the profound impact she had on those around her, leaving behind memories filled with love and kindness.
