Thomas A. Hickling, age 81, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 2, 2025. He was born May 15, 1943, the son of Stanley and Margaret Hickling. A longtime resident of Milwaukee and Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, Tom was a veteran of the United States Navy and served as a radioman third class aboard the USS Conway. He worked for many years in the mobility industry for The Cheney Company and Bruno Independent Living Aids.
He was the loving husband of Heather Hickling for 54 years, father to Jason (Jennifer) Hickling, Peter (Lisa) Hickling, Aaron (Dawn Beaudoin) Hickling, and Allison (Jon) Immendorf. He was the proud grandfather to Lucas, Quinn, Kaylee, Ian, Abby, Charlotte, Landon, Will, Henry, and Brady. He was the dear brother of Kathy (Erv) Deubig, Ruthalyce (Thomas) Fischer, Matthew (Barbara) Hickling, and sister in law Patricia Hickling. Fondly remembered by sister's and brother's in law and their extended families, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Tom was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Robert Hickling and James Hickling.
Visitation will be Friday, May 9, 2025 at the Family Center at Wisconsin Memorial Park from 9:30-10:30 am. Service to follow visitation with military honors graveside.
