Born to Eternal Life November 30, 2018, age 83 years. Beloved husband of Cecilia (Nee Chucka). Dear father of Kathleen (David) McCarthy, Thomas (Patricia) and Steven (Elizabeth) Mayer. Loving grandfather of Kevin (Samantha), Daniel (Jenna) and Ryan McCarthy, Caroline Hope, and Lucas, Genevieve and Isabelle Mayer. Proud great-grandfather of Gavin and Delaney McCarthy. Fond brother of Carl Mayer, Larry (Pat) Mayer, the late Paul Mayer, the late Anne Oliver and the late Lois Steffes. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation Wednesday, December 12, from 9:30-11 AM at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 8200 W. Denver Ave., followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the St. Vincent de Paul Society-St. Bernadette Conference, which Thomas was a longtime member of, would be appreciated.
