Thomas Glenn Needles
Of Mequon, entered into Eternal Life on Thursday, April 15, 2021, at the age of 90. Loving husband of Jeanette R. Kraemer for 30 years.
Dear brother of Candy (John) Constable, and Carol Schulls. Cherished father of the late Douglas (Jenny) Needles, David Needles, and Brad (Deborah) Needles. Stepfather of Steven (Honey) Szymanski, Lauren (John) Baltz, and Julie (Ben) Wood. Proud grandfather of Emma White-Needles, Sophie White-Needles, Jacob Needles, the late Shane Needles, and Sarah Needles. Step-great grandfather of Steven Baltz.
He is further survived by Daughter-in-law, Jenny White-Needles; sister-in-law, June Needles; other family and friends.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar, and Mildred Needles; his son Douglas; his grandson Shane; siblings Don (Marg) Needles, Richard Needles, June (Bill) Kresse, and Ron Schulls.
Thomas was a proud United States Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.
A native of Milwaukee and a 1955 honors graduate of Marquette University with graduate scholarship in hand, Thomas was an active alumnus in advocating and fund raising for the Marquette University Basketball Team.
By profession, he was an Executive Consultant.
Thomas began his career at Johnston Cookies (President) and has served many companies including Brownberry Ovens (President), Koss Corporation (President), Evans Food Products (President and CEO), Chicago, Milwaukee Seasoning Laboratories, Incorporated (Executive Vice President), Sargento, Member of the Board of Directors (12 years) and Sargento Specialty Foods (Sargento Cheese Company, Sargento Food Service and Duralam, Incorporated) (Executive Consultant and President) before joining HM Graphics, Incorporated (Chief Operating Officer). He also successfully created and established his own business, Visa Lighting. In addition, he enjoyed sharing his talent as a Greeter at Home Depot in Grafton, WI.
His interests include family, sports, golf, traveling, music, writing, drawing, and painting. He was a person who experienced life with pleasure, engagement, creativity, humor, and deep humility.
Although words cannot always express what the heart wishes, in prayer we realize that death from God brings life. Tom will always be loved and remembered.
A visitation will be held on Monday, June 7, 2021, from 10:00 AM until the time of the 11:00 AM Funeral Mass at Lumen Christi Parish, 2750 Mequon Rd., Mequon WI 53092. Inurnment to follow at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 2:00PM, Union Grove, Wisconsin.
