Victoria L. Ausloos
September 30, 1952 – October 16, 2024
Victoria L. Ausloos (Vickie) passed away at the age of 72, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on September 30, 1952, in Milwaukee, WI, Vickie was an individual whose warmth and humor touched everyone she met.
Vickie's journey began as the daughter of Barbara and Victor Walczak, who preceded her in death
.
She was also preceded by her brother-in-law Al, sister-in-law Greta, and her in-laws, Cletus and Betty Ausloos. Her life was further blessed by the companionship of her furry companion, Bentley, who also predeceased her. The bonds of family were paramount to Vickie, and she is survived by her devoted husband, Steve, and her loving daughter, Kim (Albert) Sosa. Her spirit lives on through her siblings, Chris (also known as Berty), Kathryn, and Kenneth (Stephanie), and in-laws John and Vicki along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will cherish her memory.
Vickie's commitment to education was evident through her formative years, graduating from Messmer High School and culminating with a degree from Concordia University.
Her professional life was a testament to her work ethic and ability to inspire those around her. As an employee of Johnson Controls, her contributions were integral to the success of the corporate, marketing, and battery divisions. Her business sense was furthered by a successful real estate career with Shorewest. Colleagues enjoyed Vickie not just for her professional acumen but also for her friendly demeanor and sense of humor that brought lightness to even the most challenging workdays.
Travel and music were sources of joy and inspiration for her, as was her love for painting and other artistic expressions. But perhaps her most profound interest was the joy she found in the subtleties of life—those quiet moments and gentle gestures that uplifted the spirits of those around her.
Vickie was funny, friendly, and generous. Her humor was a gift that she shared freely, delighting friends and family with her wit and playful spirit. Her friendliness was her bridge to the world, allowing her to connect with people from all walks of life. And her generosity knew no bounds, whether it was through her time, her talents, or lending a compassionate ear to truly listen and hear what others had to say.
A celebration of Vickie's life will take place on Friday, November 15th, 2024, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Schramka Funeral Home in Thiensville, Wisconsin.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Vickie's memory can be made to the Wisconsin Humane Society.
