Virginia Hill

June 10, 1951 — February 4, 2024

Virginia "Virg" Hill (née Kruzikas) passed away peacefully among loved ones on February 4th at age 72 after a brief, yet brave battle with an aggressive cancer. After a successful career, Virg enjoyed many blissful years of retirement and opened herself up to everything life had to offer, often joking gleefully that she didn't even know what day of the week it was. Virg will be fondly remembered for her limitless generosity of both heart and resources; her sharp wit; her stoicism, courage, oaken demeanor, and warm smile no matter the circumstances; her storytelling; her pride in her Lithuanian heritage; her love of cribbage, puzzles, word games, adventure, and wildlife; and her uncanny ability to send every visitor home with more food than a reasonable person could possibly consume. Virg was the type of woman who had a lasting impact on anyone she met, no matter how brief. She will truly be missed. Virg was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Richard Kruzikas. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Patrick (Megan) and Daniel (Cassandra), her beloved Aunt Aldona Kavaliunas, her nephew and niece Richard Keith Kruzikas (Kristen) and Denise Kruzikas Wilt (Corey), her grandnieces Courtney and Lauren Kruzikas, as well as many other cousins, friends, and extended family members both here and abroad in Lithuania. A celebration of life will be held on March 9th from 1-4p at Schramka Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls. The celebration will not have a formal service: please come anytime and stay for as little or as long as you like. In lieu of flowers and gifts, the family requests donations be sent to the National Wildlife Federation or the Balzekas Museum of Lithuanian Culture.
