Behnke, Wayland C. Went home to the Lord on Good Friday, March 25, 2016 age 88. Beloved husband of Audrey. Loving father of Terri (Greg) Nies, Jerri, Kim (Bruce) Brunner, Denise (Brad) Gray, Jay (Jean), Mark (Diane) Loucks. Proud grandfather of Nicholas, Austin, Aaron, Brandon, AJ, Luis "Chico", Kaley, Ethan, Caleb, Ben, Sara, and Jason, and great-grandfather (Papa Bear) of Lilliana, Gabriella, Elijah, Noah, Madeline, Delaney, and Brooklyn. Loving brother of Callie Baldini and Raymond Behnke. Preceded in death by his grandchildren Daniel and Anthony "Tony". Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Wayland was Navy WWII Veteran, as well as a teacher, coach, guidance counselor, administrator, and business man. He was a man who always put his faith in God first, and because of that he influenced many lives. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 23 at 1 PM at Eastbrook Church, 5385 N. Green Bay Ave, Milwaukee. Visitation from 12 PM until the time of service.
