Treloar, William Curtis of the town of Raymond passed away peacefully on October 18, 2015 at the age of 88 at the Burlington Rehab and Care Center. Born on September 8, 1927 to Charles William and Ina (nee Smith) in Mineral Point, Wisconsin, he served in World War II with the U.S. Navy. He retired from Ladish Forging, Cudahy in September 1992. He loved farming, his Cornish heritage, fixing things, and telling stories. His favorite saying was "The first 100 years are the hardest." William is survived by his children; (the late) Patricia (Amos) O'Neal of Franksville, William L. (Bonnie) Treloar of Cedarburg, Cheryl (the late Richard) Roepke of North Cape, Gordon Treloar, and Tamara Rebstock, both of Westmont, IL, grandchildren, Bill, David, and Jeff O'Neal, Andrew Treloar, Beth Morris, Nikita Person, Nicole Rebstock, and Kristoffer Allen, seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.. He is preceded in death by his parents, ex-wife Mildred (nee Hayes), daughter Patricia, sons-in law Richard Roepke and Wayne Morris, two grandsons, Daniel and Jonathan, three sisters, Marion (Ervin) Engelke, Shirley, and Lorraine (Russell) Storm, two brothers Edwin (Juanita) and Donald (Marge). He is survived by three sisters Lois (the late John) Burke of Texas, Nancy (Ron) Bandurski of Sussex, and Janet (Joseph) Lewandowski of New Berlin and two brothers, James (Gerri) of Oconomowoc, and Charles (the late Carol) of Waterford.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 am to 11 am on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Schramka Funeral Home located at 7841 West Appleton Avenue in Milwaukee. A memorial service will be held from 11 am to 12 pm. A luncheon will follow at the funeral home and interment will be held at 2:30 pm at Valhalla Cemetery located at Silver Spring and 91st Street in Milwaukee.
