Family Fun Before the Fourth: We're Into That!

Schramka Funeral Homes • Jul 10, 2019

Schramka staff delight in the pre-Independence Day festivities. Chatting, connecting with families and giving out treats ahead of the 4th of July long weekend.

Just over a week ago, Schramka-Densow staff made it out to the Ozaukee County community and participated in Thiensville's Family Fun Before the Fourth parade!

Parade walkers were Peter Schramka, Amanda King, Debra Wilson, Jessica Trammel and Kelly Teague.

"We had a great time passing out around 10,000 pieces of candy to a crowd of over 8,000 people," Teague explained. "We are thrilled and honored to be an active part of the Thiensville community."

Family Fun Before the Fourth is operated by Community Fun Events, Inc., a non-profit organization comprised of volunteers dedicated to organizing Mequon and Thiensville's premiere summer family fun and entertainment attraction. The event is funded entirely through sponsorships from area businesses and service organizations, the City of Mequon and the Village of Thiensville.

Schramka-Densow Funeral Home was a Silver sponsor of the event. Schramka Funeral Home frequently looks for opportunities to support families through community initiatives that make life better for residents of all ages.
