Schramka Hosts Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting

The Hales Corners Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting was held last Thursday at Schramka-Borgwardt Funeral Home in Hales Corners.

The annual membership meeting included voting for board positions, a social hour with appetizers from That's Amore Italian Cafe , and an open bar.

Outgoing President Michael Clavette led the meeting and, after attendees cast their votes for board positions, he introduced the new President, James Huot.

The night included an important debriefing of The Tastes Of Hales Corners Wine and Beer Tasting. The event was said to be very successful in raising funds for the Hales Corners Library.

Also on the agenda was the upcoming Scholarship Banquet & Fundraiser , which is scheduled for May 16th. The annual banquet will feature this year's high school scholarship winners, the 2019 Business of the Year award recipient, entertainment, raffles and a delicious dinner from That's Amore Italian Cafe.

This is the second year Schramka-Borgwardthas hosted the Annual Meeting. Schramka Funeral Home staffers John Klein (General Manager), Deb Wilson (Funeral Assistant and Hales Corners' resident), Jacquie Andrews (Administrative Assistant and Hales Corners' resident) and Sandy Carlson-Kaye (Office Manager) were in attendance.
