John Makowski

I am saddened to hear of Gil's passing. I enjoyed the times in the old neighborhood, going to school with Greg at St. Mary's Czestochowa and spending time with Gil & Florence. I still have a recipe card titled "Florence's Sloppy Joe" recipe. Audrey and I have enjoyed making it for many years. Greg was the Best Man at our Wedding and we remember Gil being there. Lately I would run into Gil at Fleet Farm and he still had his sense of humor and that trademark smile. It is clear he will be missed, and we offer our deepest sympathies to Greg, Lynne, and Gary as well as the rest of the Pokrzywinski family.
