Obituary for Marion Milton Fieseler

Marion Milton Fieseler
Marion Milton Fieseler, age 84, of Oconomowoc, WI, peacefully moved to heaven on February 21, 2015, surrounded by his family. He was born December 16,1930 to William and Florence Fieseler near Ruthven, IA. One of nine siblings, four have preceded him in death. He served in the United States Army, stationed in Germany during the Korean War. He married the love of his life, Gladys, celebrating 60 years of marriage last November! He has one son, Brian (Margo) and two granddaughters (Becca and Tori) who reside in Oconomowoc, WI, plus numerous nieces and nephews.

A man of integrity. Humble in heart. A hard worker. Conscientious provider. No matter what life threw at him, he never complained.

Affectionately called “Granpa”, he was known for his sweet tooth, especially ice cream (only Blue Bunny from LeMars, IA). A gardener…who would harvest tomatoes as big as your head. And best of all…he loved Jesus, so we will be reunited with him some day!

A private family funeral will be held in Wisconsin. A huge celebration of his life will be held this summer in Iowa, where he lived for 84 years.

Memorials to the family or to Marion’s wife, Gladys would be appreciated.
