Obituary for Barbara E. Schroer
(nee Kanack) Of Grayslake, IL, formerly of Milwaukee. Born to Eternal Life on August 28, 2015, age 61 years. Preceded in death by her parents Bill and Esther Wotruba Kanack. Beloved wife of Robert H. Schroer. Dear sister of Tom (Linda Zwirlein) Kanack. Loving aunt of Liz (Scott) Stine and Joe (Leah) Kanack. Sister-in-law of Jean Kanack. Also survived by other relatives and friends. Barbara was very involved in special education. She greatly enjoyed her co-workers at Roche Pharmaceuticals and Old School Montessori. Barbara deeply loved her cats and the Green Bay Packers.
A Graveside Service for family and friends will be held Wednesday, September 9, 1 pm at Resurrection Cemetery, 9400 W. Donges Bay Rd., Mequon. Please meet at Cemetery. Memorials to Lambs Farm-Residence for Mentally and Physically Disabled Adults, 14245 W. Rockland Rd., Libertyville, IL, 60048 or Old School Montessori, 144 Commerce Dr., Grayslake, IL, 60030 would be appreciated.
