Donald H.  Tamsen
Donald H. Tamsen “Don”, of Cedarburg, WI, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2015 at the age of 82.

He was born in Milwaukee, on April 3, 1933 the son of Henry and Lorraine (nee Weyrch) Tamsen, and married the Shirley Ann Karrer on September 27, 1952 in Milwaukee.

Don is survived by his loving children Mike (Chris) Tamsen, Tim (Lisa) Tamsen and son-in-law Rick Pozorski. Dear grandfather of Michelle (Jim) Kutz, Tricia (Andy) Van Groll, Josiah, Samuel and Julia Tamsen. Proud great-grandfather of Kara and Leah Kutz and Liam Van Groll. Also survived by his dear companion Leona Lumpe, along with other family and friends. 

Don was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Shirley, his daughter Pamela Pozorski and his loving granddaughter Libby Tamsen.

Don spent his entire working career with the Canteen Vending Company in Milwaukee as a route delivery driver and later became a manager.  He was a long time member and caretaker of the buildings and grounds for Redeemer Church in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. Other interests included being a member of a card club group, family camping trips that later turned into becoming a cottage owner because of his love for fishing. He also attended the Skip Barber Racing School at Road America in Elkhart Lake, WI. Don will always be known as an avid gardener, a lifelong Packer fan and the neighborhood “Go To” Handy Man.

Visitation with be Friday, September 18, 2015 at Redeemer Ev. Lutheran Church, W76 N627 Wauwatosa Rd, Cedarburg, WI 53012 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at 6 PM. Burial will be held at Immanuel Cemetery in Cedarburg at 9 AM Saturday, September 19.
