Obituary for Raymond R. Guarascio

Guarascio, Raymond R.
Found eternal peace on September 11, 2015 at the age of 77 years. Loving husband of Penny Edmund. Loving father of Ann (Phil) Giuffre and Joseph Guarascio. Dear grandpa of Joey, Brian and Julia Giuffre. Dear brother of Ronald (Mary) Guarascio and Anita Durbin. Further loved by Penny's children; Andy (Jasmina) Rick and Joe Rick, Penny's grandchildren; Jerry and Alex Rick, his nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and his Cavalier King Charles Spaniels; Chaucer, Chelsea, Coco and Luca.
Raymond served in the US Army. He was a barber for many years and continued his trade during summers while he taught for Milwaukee Public Schools. He taught for Milwaukee Public Schools for over 25 years, retiring from Hi-Mount Elementary School. Ray was a great lover of the outdoors. He enjoyed camping, hiking, fishing, golfing and kayaking and the beauty of the Great Lakes. He was an avid photographer and spent many hours photographing the natural environment. He was a lover of dogs and most recently served as the Midwest director for the American Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Rescue Trust.
Visitation at the funeral home Saturday, September 26 from 9-11 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 11 AM. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
