Obituary for Mark Alan Trammel

Mark Alan Trammel
Mark A. Trammel age 63, formerly of Thiensville, WI passed away at his California home on Friday August 14, 2015, surrounded by his loving family and friends after a strong, courageous battle with gastric cancer.

Mark was born June 20, 1952 in Michigan to Muriel Joan (nee Vogg) and Samuel F. Trammel II. His adolescence was spent living in Mequon, WI with his parents, siblings, and niece. As a young adult he ventured out to Colorado, before moving to California for employment at an electronics store. He settled down In Sun City, CA where he obtained a house, vehicle, dogs (his “kids”), many lifelong friends, and earned the pride of his doting family back in Wisconsin.

Though Mark spent half of his life seeing the country and finally calling California his “home”, he never lost his love for family, friends, or the Midwest. His open, honest, caring personality allowed him the ability to establish lifelong relationships with neighbors, co-workers and friends. Mark had a wonderful way of connecting with people. He had an amazing gift, he was always able to make anyone feel comfortable around him. Mark was carefree, fun loving, and always made time for his family and friends. He had an incredible love for animals, wildlife and the great outdoors. His family was so fortunate to have made such wonderful memories together up at “Lake Camelot”, and fishing along Wisconsin’s Great Lakes. Without a doubt, he will be missed by many loved ones both near and far.

Mark is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Karla and Bruce Bertling, brother Samuel F. Trammel III, niece Corey (David) Mayworm, and their children Phoenix and Beckham. He is further survived by many treasured friends.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents and his little brother Jonathan Lee Trammel.

A burial service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday October 3, 2015 at Immanuel Cemetery on Hamilton Rd in Cedarburg, WI, with Zach Mayworm officiating.
