Condolences

Condolence From: Bryan Bigsby
Condolence: I also was privileged to work with Don on a brake project years ago. Working alongside Don I was reminded of why I chose Engineering as my career in the first place. When given a problem to solve, Don would smile and get a twinkle in his eye that said "I've got it, this is going to be fun!" It is so easy to lose site of the passion for inventing and problem solving with all of the distractions that a big company throws at us, but somehow Don kept that fire burning through it all and in doing so inspired young Engineers like me to keep it burning too. I can only hope that somehow I might someday inspire a younger Engineer just as Don inspired me. My condolences to Don's family and all who knew him.

Condolence From: Michael J Hebert
Condolence: I had the opportunity to work with Don on a brake project many years ago. I remember most his ability to solve problems and intricate mechanisms with a passion. I was fotunate to be invited to see his collection of clocks and his "what's this used for" items he would find at swap meets. Most of all his loyalty to his friends and co-workers and his love for family. I still see that pull out counter board in the kitchen where he told me he would sit with his wife to eat a sandwich, even though there was a perfectly good table steps away. I hope there's lots of clocks to work on Don, God bless.
