Mom — you had a great recipe for life. You were a wonderful grandmother, mom and friend. I will always treasure our time together…especially during the holidays and our Sunday dinners at the dining room table, where we would all sit and talk for hours. Carol lived the true meaning of friendship and I felt honored that she called me her friend. She always greeted me with a welcoming smile that made me feel I had been missed. When I spoke, she listened attentively, like I was the only one in the room. I looked to Carol for advice because she would always respond with unconditional respect in her calm voice of reason. Her opinions always came from her heart. She laughed easily and expressed her emotions openly. I could trust her words completely. Carol's transparency made me feel loved. Thank you Carol for being my friend! Love YOU always. P.S. I'm glad Joe finally has a fourth to play a "great" round of golf!
