Obituary for Richard L. Hug

Richard L Hug, 72, of Milwaukee found Eternal Peace on August 29, 2016 with his family at his side. He was born on August 22, 1944 in the Town of Addison, WI. Son of Leonard and Madeline (Wild) Hug. He married Jessica Kurkiewicz on July 2 1983. Richard served the Lord by working at Our Lady of Divine Providence Parish serving St Casimir and St Mary of Czestochowa from 1998 until retired where he and Jessica were members. Richard enjoyed reading and he was an eager handyman who spent many hours working on his home in the Riverwest Neighborhood and helping out friends and family with projects.

He is survived by his wife Jessica, Sons Richard (Rachel) Hug of Milwaukee, Craig (Faith) of Jacksonville NC, Oliver of Los Angeles CA, and Daughter Jennifer (Shad Pionek) of Milwaukee, Grandsons Alec and Ethan of Jacksonville NC, Brother Leonard Jr (late Karen) of Fond du Lac and Sister Rita (Hug) Johann of Kewaskum and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and son Joshua (1995).

A visitation will be held from 9:00AM-11:00AM on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at St Casimir's Church (2600 N Bremen Ave. Milwaukee). The funeral service will follow at 11:00AM. A Private family burial will be held in Holy Angels Cemetery, West Bend.
