Condolence: Actually, Ms. Trimberger gets credit for living an even 100 years. The year 2000 was a leap year, but only years ending in 00 that are divisible by 400 have a leap day (February 29th). In other centuries (i.e. 1700, 1800, 1900, 2100), there is no leap day. Therefore, Ms. Trimberger is given credit for one extra day and lived an even 100 years.

Condolence: I'm so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort from your memories, as well as the comfort found in God’s word the bible. In the face of such tragedy, many wonder why God allows such suffering. In the bible, Romans 5:12 says, "That is why, just as through one man (Adam) sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned." How loving of God to promise what is found at Revelation 21:4 which says, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
