Martin E.  Gadzichowski
Martin E. Gadzichowski of Mequon died Dec. 15, 2015. Preceded in death by his first wife, LaVerne, and daughter, Michelle. Husband of Joyce (nee Schmidt). Loving father of Martin, Marcia (Dave) Matsen, Maria (Paul) Been, Mark and Marietta (Paul) Sliwinski. Stepfather of James (Karyl) Rosenberg, Susan (Bruce) Engelman, Joy (Mary Schultz) Rosenberg and Mary (John) Caucutt; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; his sister, Marcella Matyasz; and nieces and nephews.
He was a retired designer of structural steel, past president of Eagle Aerie 4214, member of Moose Lodge #49, past board member of the Cedarburg Cultural Center and the Ozaukee County Historical Society, docent at MSOE Grohmann Art Museum, helped to build Discovery World’s Denis Sullivan and sailed on it as a volunteer educator and summer crew member.
Marty donated his body to the Medical College of Wisconsin. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday February 27th at the Funeral Home at 3pm. Visitation will be held from 2 pm until 4 pm.
