Condolence: How did it happen that I got older and Ed never really looked that different? I and my brothers remember "Mr. Flaherty" as a fun-loving guy, always ready with a humorous quip that belied his big heart. It's been sad to see that precious circle of friends -- of which Ed was such an important part -- dwindle, and hopeful to know the solid legacy of generations they left behind.

Condolence: I'll always cherish the memories of our group of couples that included Ed and Marie, Marilyn and Frank, Ina and Leon and Tony and me. What fun times -- playing bridge, our trip to Europe, many vacations in Arizona and the gatherings with all of our children whose growing up we shared. We were always interested in the progress of their lives. Ed kept us all laughing and enjoying life. Rest in peace, dear friend.
