Teri Ann Miller (“Tami”)

Finished her race into the arms of the Almighty at the age of 58. Loving daughter of Richard “Gus” Miller, incredible mother to twins Erin (Wil) Baskin and Kristin (Eric) Brooks, cherished sibling to Steve Miller, Mary (Paul) Witt, Jon (Chris) Miller, Jo (John) Passet, Geri Hastings, and Ann (Scott) Erenheim. She was preceded in death by her mother Alice Miller (nee Spitza) and is further survived by grandchildren Odin, Aurora, and Maggie, 13 nieces and nephews, as well as countless friends.

Teri’s compassion and desire to care for others never ceased, first working in mental healthcare for many years before transitioning to spiritual care. In August 2019, Teri was ordained as a minister of the Baptist church after completing her chaplaincy certification. A passionate runner, Teri continued her demonstration of strength and perseverance alongside her extended family of running friends. There were few things in this world that Teri loved more than her family and faith, except perhaps satisfying her sweet tooth.

A celebration of Teri’s life (memorial service followed by luncheon) will be held Saturday, October 12th, 2019 from 1pm to 3pm at the Grand Hall at Hoyt Park (1800 N Swan Blvd, Wauwatosa, WI 53226).

In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to AVNA Zilber Family Hospice Greatest Need Fund or to the family to support funeral costs directly through Teri’s PayPal Donate page (
