Obituary for Virginia M. "Gini" Hackett

Virginia M. "Gini" Hackett
Hackett, Virginia “Gini”

The angels lifted Gini, age 86, up to heaven on February 25, 2015, reuniting her with Dick, her loving husband of 50 years, and her beloved sisters, Nancy (Tippy) Madarik, Peggy (Pinky) Cankar, and Jeanne (Abe) Carey. As Gini's time neared, she reached out to her mom and dad, Mamie and Frank Korst, who came to her and journeyed with her to everlasting peace. She is survived by her daughters, Betsy, Christine and Jacquie, Brother-in-Law, Bob Corey, and Sister-in-Law, Joan Hackett, as well as many caring nieces and nephews.
Many thanks go out to her kind and generous caretakers at St. Camillus, who do God's work every day, and made Gini's time there happier with their care and companionship.
Mom, we are comforted by the thought of you and dad dancing together in heaven, where you will once again be able to tend to your flowers and bird feeders. We know there is a special little gazebo there for you with your cherished pets that you cared for so well.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 1, from 4 to 7pm at Schramka Funeral Home, and on Monday, March 2, from 1 pm until time of Mass at 2 pm at St. Mary's Visitation Parish, 1260 Church Street, Elm Grove to celebrate Gini's life. Following Mass, burial will be at St. Mary's Visitation Cemetery.
