Pamela Gay Ray, 60, of Thiensville, passed away Friday, April 3rd, 2015.

Born in Arizona, she was the eldest daughter of Shirley Ann Nygaard and Lyman “Toby” Nygaard.

While recently retired and enjoying time with her grandchildren, she formerly worked as an Administrative Assistant for an Insurance Company and as a local Avon Representative. She was a graduate of Homestead High School, enjoyed genealogy, and loved being “Gamma” to her 8 grandchildren.

In addition to her parents Shirley and Toby, she is survived by her devoted husband of 41 years, Randall Ray; her children, Ally (Joe) Vincent, Kim (Jamie) Angeli and Jarrod (Karie) Ray; her 2 sisters, Paula Nygaard and Penny Shuster; her brother Paul Nygaard; her grandchildren, Kaeya, Mikey, Corben, Melina, Talula, Mason, Chase and Landen; her Westie Disa; as well as her nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, and friends.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the St. Mary’s Ozaukee emergency room staff who took excellent care of her, as well as the Thiensville Police and EMT who came to her aid.

Visitation and memorial services will be held 1pm-2pm Saturday, April 18th at Schramka-Densow Funeral Home, 423 N. Main St., Thiensville.

Pam was known for tending to her extensive gnome garden. In her memory, please plant a flower or give a gnome a home in your garden on her behalf this spring.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Thiensville Fire Department, 250 Elm St., Thiensville, WI 53092 would be appreciated.
