Stevens, Ralph V.
Born Ralph Rognemyhr, passed away peacefully January 19, 2017 at the age of 87 after a short illness. Loving father of Sophia and Valerie. Proud grandfather of Derek and Marcus (Shawnna), Gary, and Kevin (Rachel) Bosworth, and great-grandfather of Eric Keegan Bosworth. Preceded in death by his wife Donna Stevens, mother Ellen Rognemyhr, daughter Vickie Stevens, grandson Eric Adam Bosworth, and best friend Keiko Mielke. Further survived by relatives in Norway, other relatives and friends.
Ralph was an avid downhill skier until he was 80 years old and was an honorary member of the Vagabond Club. He served in the Army in the Korean Conflict, and was a member of the American Legion and an advocate for the VA for Vietnam Veterans. Ralph was a member of St. Boniface Episcopal Church, a volunteer with Interfaith International, and a member of the Sons of Norway.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 25 at 12 PM at St. Boniface Episcopal Church, 3906 W Mequon Rd, Mequon. Visitation from 10 AM until the time of service. Interment Thursday, January 26 at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 12 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial to St. Boniface Episcopal Church or the Milwaukee Homeless Shelter appreciated.
