Uncle Herm a true man's man

A few years back it was the weekend of each the three family cottages pulling their docks out of the water for the season. Herm's dock needed required six people to get it out but to Herm 3-4 was good enough. When I showed up at the Buechel's cottage to help I had advised uncle Herm that the other reinforcements to help would be over in 20 min. Not surprised with the response uncle Herm replied "the h*** with the reinforcements we can do the darn thing ourselves". So there was the four of us (uncle Joe, Dave, Herm, & myself) taking out this 300+lb dock that probably belonged in lake Michigan instead of lake Patton :) Needless to say uncle Herm was right that day as I am sure he was most of his days four was better than six. I always knew uncle Herm was always a strong man but it was on that day which I learned he was in fact a true man's man. Love you uncle Herm and will truly miss you! Your nephew, John Kovochich
